What is Permanent Makeup?

Permanent makeup refers to cosmetic tattoos that help you re-create your favorite makeup looks in a semi-permanent manner. Chances are, you've already heard of microblading. Thanks to an exponentially exploding interest in brows over the past few years, the eyebrow-tattooing technique has gone mainstream. An ideal solution for anyone with patchy, thin, or uneven eyebrows who are looking for natural looking, low maintenance results. Permanent makeup is the answer for almost everyone who wants a wash and go look to confidently take them through the day. Enjoy the convenience and time saved with permanent cosmetics that do not smudge or smear during their daily activities. Your makeup will always look like it was applied by an expert… because it was.

the treatment process

·  2.5 to 3.5 hours treatment time

·  Consultation [15-30 minutes]

·  Eyebrow mapping/design [30-45 minutes]

·  Trimming/tweezing of excess hair outside of new shape [10-15 minutes]

·  Color selection [couple minutes]

·  Cosmetic tattoo treatment (anesthetic applied during treatment) [1-2 hour]

·  Explanation of aftercare [10 minutes]

*No tattooing takes places until artist and client are both satisfied with newly designed shape.

A new set of permanent eyebrows takes two appointments to complete. Generally, healed results from your initial treatment are great but a touch-up is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED anytime after 8 weeks because everyone heals differently and therefore the outcomes vary. In the touch up session, final adjustments are made to assure the client’s satisfaction by adjusting pigment color, brow thickness by adding more strokes (if needed).

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER TREATMENT

When you've invested in beautiful permanent eyebrows, you'll want to keep them looking their best for as long as possible. Most treatments last from one year up to three before you require a touch up appointment, and lots of factors come into play to determine how long they will last.

Natural fading occurs from external factors such as exposure to the sun as well as internal factors such as the gradual break down of pigments as your body metabolizes it out of your system. Everyone can experience the fading process differently and it really comes down to skin type and lifestyle.

Taking care of your new brows after treatment is extremely important to how your eyebrows will look after they are fully healed and the longevity of your eyebrows.

Protect the longevity of your new brows . Once completely healed, always apply a layer of sunscreen SPF 30 up to SPF 50 on your eyebrows when exposed to the sun. Sun exposure might cause the color pigment to fade away more quickly.

When using foundation, be aware when applying to avoid your healed eyebrows. If foundation covers healed brows, your eyebrows will appear lighter. Use a cotton swab and remove makeup from brows.
